
Esta pista de Darlington Raceway no ha sido la mejor para Juan Pablo Montoya, aunque saco un buen dividendo teniendo un carro poco manejable en toda la carrera. El equipo del auto N° 42 no entendió la pista y no le pudo brindar un mejor carro para esta carrera que ha sido en la que los carros del equipo Gannasi se mostraron menos competitivos. El cambio de jefes de equipo entre el auto N° 41 y el N° 42 aun no ha surtido efecto, por lo que tenemos que esperar aun para ver un carro competitivo..
Creo que las carreras en Lowe’s Motor Speedway serán en las que veamos el trabajo de Jimmy Elledge en el auto N° 42, asi que en las carrera de las estrellas podran venir las alegrias que nos estan siendo escasas a los seguidores de Juan Pablo Montoya y el auto N° 42.

COMENTARIOS RECUPERADOS
Es muy dificil que cualquiera de los tres pilotos puedan ir bien con carros con mal desempeño.
Claro, en todo esto el equipo tiene una gran responsabilidad en entregar una máquina competitiva y el crew tiene que moverse más rápido en los pits…aunque haciendo ajustes en cada parada también como complicado.
En esto último si me andaré con pasos de geisha para no herir suceptibilidades, pero como a Wingo y a Elledge les falta como malicia para ver las carreras y hacer los ajustes adecuados, también es cierto que Juan Pablo a veces perece más perdido que ellos en la puesta a punto. Y eso no es nuevo, si estoy equivocado me corrigen, pero a Montoya desde su época en CART le cuesta setear el carro, lo logra más por descarte que otra cosa, sino es blanco es negro. Aclaro que apoyo a Montoya, pero es cierto que hay pilotos rápidos y agresivos que sacan una victoria de donde no es posible, y otros que son menos rápidos pero son más tecnicos y consistentes.
Pienso que ese sería un punto para trabajar de cara a futuras carreras.
