Juan Pablo Montoya ahora ocupa la posición N° 21 en la general de la Nascar Sprint Cup
Montoya mejoro un puesto y logro seguir sumando en la general, ahora Montoya es 21 a falta de dos carreras para el corte del chase en donde es casi seguro se empiece a probar el nuevo motor con miras a la temporada 2009. El equipo Ganassi Racing se encuentra muy esperanzado en el rendimiento que traerá el nuevo motor para sus corredores que aun no define.
